Higherlife Foundation Announces Revamped Merit-Based Scholarship Program Focusing on Future Skills

The Higherlife Foundation is excited to announce that applications for the prestigious Joshua Nkomo Scholarship are officially open. This transformative program has been reimagined to equip talented students with the skills necessary for tomorrow, while nurturing leaders committed to making a difference in their communities.

A Pathway for Aspiring Leaders

The Joshua Nkomo Scholarship invites academically gifted individuals who have achieved a minimum of 14 A-Level points in public examinations to apply. This opportunity is particularly geared towards students aspiring to pursue degrees in Engineering and Health Sciences, fields that are essential for the development of Zimbabwe and beyond.

Encouraging Community Engagement and Entrepreneurial Training

In a bid to foster well-rounded individuals, the scholarship program mandates active participation in community engagement activities. Additionally, successful candidates will engage in entrepreneurial training programs designed to enhance their leadership capabilities and entrepreneurial skills—crucial assets in today’s dynamic job market.

Open to All Young Scholars

  • Birth Certificate
  • National ID
  • Character Reference Form (available for download here)

The completed Character Reference Form should be emailed directly to crf@higherlifefoundation.org as part of the application process.
