Apply now for the Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit Training Programme

The call for applications for peer educators for the second edition of the Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit (I-ACT) training programme is now open.
Applications close on 21 March 2025.
Co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and implemented by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the I-ACT initiative aims to enhance awareness and knowledge regarding climate change, renewable energy, and sustainable development by empowering young international leaders as peer educators.
This initiative follows a training-of-trainers approach. The programme is structured in two phases: Initially, IRENA will select promising young leaders from various geographical areas for comprehensive, hands-on training in utilizing the I-ACT Toolkit.
Subsequently, these trained leaders will disseminate the acquired knowledge in their home countries through a series of community training events.
The Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit consists of presentation materials, facilitator guidance, and engagement activities that enable peer educators to effectively conduct workshops within their communities, schools, or universities to promote climate action.
