About EurOcean

EurOcean was established in 2002 by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER).

It is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge within the marine science and technology sector. EurOcean’s sole mission is to enhance cooperation and information flow among professionals in the field.

The organization focuses on a wide range of activities. These include disseminating science-backed information, facilitating interactions between different sectors, improving access to research facilities and specialized knowledge, building scientific capabilities, promoting innovation, and creating new opportunities for its members and other interested parties.

Also, EurOcean regularly undertakes projects and initiatives, and from time to time they need outside help! This is where the Pool of Experts comes in.

Purpose of the Call

EurOcean often organizes, develops, or carries out various projects and activities. In order to ensure that they have all the expertise needed, they may seek to bring in outside experts to help with these projects.

This call for a Pool of Experts aims to gather a group of skilled individuals who can provide specialized knowledge and support when needed.
